Hi, I'm Tracey
I established Five Oaks Farm in 2006 and have used organic practices wherever possible. In 2018 I planted sixty olive trees and one hundred roses as I began working toward my dream of becoming a flower farmer. As a psychologist who worked full-time in my profession for well over twenty years, having that balance of garden and therapy was enriching. My farm is 15.5 glorious acres nestled in the Blackall Ranges of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and I love sharing this special space with creative folk who love the natural world. I have over 450 old-fashioned roses, dahlias, zinnias, olive and citrus groves to enjoy and bee hives assist with pollination. There are two 110-year-old cottages which are recycled! The main farmhouse was moved on to the land in 2006 and “Gracie Cottage arrived in 2019. She is available for weekend accommodation by word-of-mouth and personal recommendation. Gracie has been a marvelous project - she overlooks rose gardens and is a very peaceful space. Just ask the fireflies! I sell blooms directly to select florists and wholesale outlets and by order to local customers who love that my flowers are paddock grown, seasonal (as nature intended) and spray free. Most roses are scented and old fashioned and their provenance and purity is assured. They are grown, not flown, as the saying goes and when someone buys a Five Oaks flower they take the peace and goodness of this place with them. I intend to make the world a more beautiful place one bloom at a time and hope you come to share this beauty with me. With love, Tracey x
