Villa Alcyone is a thoughtfully designed modern Mediterranean home on the Gold Coast, QLD, where light, space, and natural textures come together to create a calm and visually rich shoot environment. Inspired by classic European architecture and designed by Jayson Pate, the home has been carefully curated to feel like a journey one that unfolds gradually as you move through each space, both indoors and out.

From the entry foyer through to the living zones, the home embraces a soft, organic palette and an intentional use of materials that connect seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. High ceilings, large windows, and skylights allow natural light to pour in and shift beautifully throughout the day, making this a highly reliable shoot location from sunrise through to sunset. Positioned with a north-easterly aspect, the home captures both ocean and greenery views, with the changing light offering a dynamic backdrop for stills and video content alike.

The kitchen, complete with a butler’s pantry, flows into open dining and living areas, creating a studio-style setting that’s easy to work within. Glass doors extend these zones outward, connecting to a courtyard, garden, patio, and outdoor kitchen ideal for capturing indoor-outdoor transitions or setting up multiple scenes without disruption. The pool area adds another layer of versatility, offering a clean, light-filled backdrop suited to fashion, wellness, and lifestyle shoots.

Throughout the home, a range of distinct yet cohesive spaces provide flexibility for different shoot styles. The statement staircase introduces a strong architectural focal point, while more intimate areas like the reading nook, home office, and bedrooms including guest and kids rooms offer softer, lived-in moments. A fireplace adds warmth and texture, while hallways and transitional spaces provide additional depth for editorial storytelling.

Villa Alcyone has been designed with intention, ensuring every angle feels considered and shoot-ready. Whether you're capturing a high-end branding campaign, editorial content, or product photography, the home supports a full day of production with ease. You might begin with soft morning light filtering through the bedrooms, move into bright, open kitchen and living scenes by midday, and finish with golden hour across the outdoor areas as the light shifts west all within one cohesive Gold Coast, QLD location.

The consistent natural light, architectural clarity, and layered indoor-outdoor flow make this a standout content space for creatives looking for both beauty and functionality. Every corner offers a new perspective, while the overall design remains calm, refined, and highly adaptable.
