Zoei House is a shoot-ready architectural home on the Gold Coast, QLD, just 10 minutes from Gold Coast Airport and 5 minutes from the beach. Designed as a full sensory experience rather than just a backdrop, every element has been considered through the lens of how it feels, how it flows, and ultimately, how it photographs.

At its core, Zoei is defined by light and materiality. A calm, neutral palette runs throughout the home, allowing it to adapt seamlessly across different shoot styles without the need for heavy styling. Layered materials, stone, brick, timber, and stainless steel, create depth and contrast, giving each frame a richness that feels elevated but never overwhelming. The balance between warm and cool textures, paired with soft curves and clean architectural lines, makes the space feel minimal yet far from flat or sterile.

The home reveals itself gradually, starting with a strong entry moment where an olive tree is framed like a living artwork against a brick backdrop. It’s an instant hero shot and sets the tone for the rest of the space. From there, the layout opens into a kitchen and living zone anchored by a striking 5-metre skylight. This feature transforms the space throughout the day, soft and diffused in the morning, textural and shadowed at midday, and warm and cinematic as the afternoon sets in.

Zoei House on the Gold Coast, QLD has been designed so that creatives are never searching for a “good angle.” Every perspective feels intentional. The transitions between spaces are layered and fluid, creating natural depth on camera and allowing for a variety of compositions within a single zone. The seamless indoor-outdoor material flow extends this versatility, making it easy to move between environments without disrupting visual continuity.

Key shoot areas include the kitchen and living space with its full brick backdrop and overhead skylight, as well as the entry hallway where architectural curves and textures come together in a refined, sculptural way. Outdoors, the sunken bath open to the sky offers a unique and calming setting, while the pool and surrounding area are ideal for lifestyle and sunset content. As the day progresses, the north-west facing yard captures golden light that feels soft, glowy, and effortless to shoot, while the front facade facing south-west offers beautiful twilight moments framed by the olive tree and brickwork.

Light is one of Zoei’s most powerful assets. Mornings bring a clean, minimal softness, particularly in areas that catch the eastern sun. Midday introduces contrast and shadow play across the home’s textured surfaces. By late afternoon, the entire space warms up, delivering a golden, almost cinematic quality that works beautifully for both stills and motion.

For a full-day shoot, creatives can begin in the softly lit interiors, move through to the skylit kitchen as the light intensifies, and finish outdoors by the pool or courtyard as the sun sets. The home supports a natural rhythm of shooting without the need to reset or relocate, making it highly efficient for teams working across multiple looks or campaigns.

Zoei House offers a refined, flexible content space where architecture, light, and texture do the heavy lifting so you can focus on capturing the shot.
