Tuscan-Inspired Contemporary Shoot Location | Maroondah, VIC

Set on a generous 1,400sqm block in Melbourne’s leafy Outer East, this fully renovated family home blends Tuscan-inspired warmth with contemporary functionality—making it an ideal backdrop for high-end film, TV, or editorial production. With sweeping views to the Dandenong Ranges, multiple indoor and outdoor living zones, and a curated mix of art, architecture, and open plan flow, this property is a rare find for production teams needing space, light, and strong visual character.

Inside, the layout is expansive yet adaptable. Downstairs, you’ll find a formal lounge, dining area, modern kitchen, and a standout wet bar adjoining a billiards room clad in bold, playful wallpaper. There’s a separate powder room for crew convenience, as well as a 10-seat private cinema with full projector and surround sound—ideal for both filming and talent downtime.

Upstairs, all bedrooms include their own ensuite bathrooms, with the master suite opening onto a private balcony overlooking the backyard and the Dandenong ranges beyond. A second lounge upstairs features a modern palette of mustard and blue tones, adding another styled zone for lifestyle or portrait work.

What sets this space apart is its highly shootable mix of refined structure and personality. The palette remains mostly neutral, allowing talent and product to take centre stage, but it’s brought to life with original artworks—including David Bromley pieces, Slim Aarons photography, and vintage posters that add flair and vibrancy throughout.

Bifold doors create an effortless indoor-outdoor transition to the alfresco area, which includes a newly installed above-ground spa, large 100,000L pool, fire pit area, and lush lawn space. From long-lens lifestyle to wide-angle campaign work, the backyard offers endless angles and cinematic depth. Vehicle access via a side road makes it easy for production trucks or caravans to reach the rear of the property without disruption.

With an empty double garage available for filming or storage, multiple lifestyle vignettes across two levels, and total privacy, this location is production-ready from day one. Whether you're capturing a campaign, filming a commercial, or shooting editorial content with a European edge, this space brings versatility and strong visual presence in equal measure.

Located just 35 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD and 15 minutes to the Yarra Valley wine region, it’s perfectly placed for brands and producers needing proximity without compromising on character or scale.
