About this space

Sunshine Hill is a rural paradise an hour north of Melbourne. We are set on 12 acres but surrounded by much larger properties, meaning the sense of privacy is profound. There isn’t another house in sight!
We’re set within a valley between two mountain ranges and are a perfect location for sunrise and sunset shoots, which occur over the ranges to our east and west.

We have large spacious paddocks with views to the ranges beyond, spectacular old gum trees, a dam, sky as far as the eye can see and more.
We also have animals who call the property home and can be included in shoots for an additional fee negotiated with the owner. The animals include 3 horses, chickens, cats and ducks. Plus kangaroos, wombats, eagles, echidnas and kookaburras regularly visit – but they keep their own schedule!

The cottage is the original workers cottage on what was once a homestead and has a ‘rustic chic’ vibe. Indoor spaces will become available as they are renovated so please inquire with the host.

There is also a rustic outdoor studio that is used as an eco therapy space and is available for staging.

We are easily accessible by two wheeled drive vehicles but with the peace and privacy, you could be in the middle of the bush!
