Tucked into the rolling greenery of Clunes in Byron’s hinterland, The Hinterland Studio is a thoughtfully designed, natural-light creative space offering quiet, flexibility, and texture. With 60m² of crisp white space, high ceilings, and large-scale openings, it’s perfectly suited to photography, video content, and small group workshops that require clarity and calm.

The core studio space (12m x 5m) features rustic timber doors, a curved archway, and French doors that not only bring character but also multiple backdrop options—all while soft natural light streams in. The layout is open and simple, allowing creative teams to bring in set pieces, roll in gear, or utilise the space as-is for clean, minimalist content.

Backing onto subtropical and native gardens—included in the hire—this studio moves fluidly from structured indoor frames to lush outdoor moments, ideal for lifestyle or wellness brands that need both stillness and organic warmth in one location.

Amenities are all in place for seamless shoot days, including a dedicated hair and makeup area, kitchen with tea and coffee, dining space, and bathroom facilities. There’s easy ground-floor access via a large roller door, with parking for up to five cars on site (plus roadside availability for crew or overflow).

Basic equipment—such as C-stands, backdrop stands, and sandbags—can be supplied on request, and additional backdrop paper or props are available to hire. It’s a shoot space designed with intention and ease, suitable for photoshoots, film production, and intimate workshops (yoga, meditation, pilates) for up to 10 people.
