Studio Bohteak in Carrum Downs, VIC is a purpose-built creative space where Mediterranean tones meet coastal minimalism—and every corner is ready to shoot. Designed by creatives for the demands of modern content production, this two-level studio delivers clean lines, soft textures, and layered flexibility across a light-filled interior and a one-of-a-kind outdoor zone.

Upstairs is the Cloud Space: a serene, all-white room flooded with natural light thanks to expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. White-washed floating floorboards and crisp walls create a seamless backdrop for fashion, branding, or lifestyle shoots, while considered styling elements—including a mirror nook with sheer curtains, golden mesh pendants, and Mediterranean-inspired mirrors—bring depth and mood to your frame. The space is modular by design, with removable artwork and portable backdrop curtains so you can easily switch up the scene to suit your creative flow.

Head downstairs and you’ll enter a larger, warehouse-style studio where texture, structure, and versatility take the lead. The custom-designed Mediterranean Arch is a centrepiece in Himalayan salt lime wash, fitted with concealed castors for easy repositioning. Flip it to reveal the Bloom Wall—a neutral-toned pumice lime wash finish that’s smooth, tonal, and ideal for campaign backdrops where colour balance is key. Both elements are supported by optional styling steps and designed for fast setup with a professional finish.

This level also includes a raw concrete wall and an 11-metre roll of paper backdrops (white and leaf tones) for clean eComm setups or varied lifestyle content. Natural light streams across the space from 8:30am onwards, creating beautiful soft shadows and consistent coverage. On the opposite side, a 5×6 metre white wall positioned near the roller door offers another light-rich backdrop—perfect for evenly lit portraits or clean flat-lays.

Outside, Studio Bohteak’s Santorini-inspired set completes the offering. Undercover and sun-washed, this Mediterranean vignette features wave-edged walls, arched bench seating, oversized urns planted with cactus, and the circular “Love” hanging chair. It’s a built-in escape that evokes the feel of a destination shoot—think Mykonos or Bali—but within easy reach of Melbourne creatives. Style it your way with curated in-studio props or add your own touches like olive trees or textiles. The light here is especially golden in the early morning or late afternoon, ideal for high-impact fashion or branding moments.
