Into the Woods | Rustic Cottage Photoshoot Location on Acreage | Palmwoods, QLD

Tucked away in the lush hinterland of Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast, Into the Woods is a one-bedroom cottage set on 6.5 tranquil acres—offering creatives a deeply personal, hand-crafted location with a soulful connection to land, light, and slow living.

Originally part of a working pineapple farm owned by a Buddhist, the property now carries that same energy of calm and care—surrounded by gardens, paddocks, and sunset-facing views. Sustainability is woven into every element. The rustic kitchen, handmade by a local carpenter, sits beside luxury appliances for balance. Each piece of furniture has been sourced second-hand from vintage markets and garage sales, with natural palm leaf decorations lovingly made by the hosts themselves. It’s a space where considered design meets character and warmth.

While compact in footprint, Into the Woods offers a variety of distinct, photogenic locations that make it a creative gem for lifestyle, interiors, wellness, and product shoots. Favourites include the outdoor bath framed by fairy lights—especially atmospheric at dusk—the country-style stables and paddocks, and a dreamy outdoor dining zone overlooking the dam, complete with a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ.

The surrounding gardens offer soft, dappled light and natural textures, while the cottage’s interiors provide a styled yet lived-in backdrop that works for everything from handmade homewares and skincare to slow fashion or couple-focused lifestyle content.

With Wi-Fi and natural light throughout, this shoot location is as functional as it is heartfelt. Located in Palmwoods, QLD, and accessible from across the Sunshine Coast, Into the Woods is perfect for small-scale teams looking to create story-led content in a quiet, curated, and character-rich environment.
