About this space

This beautiful hand-crafted cabin in Torquay was designed and built by an interior stylist and builder it is both humble and refined – with the owners executing every last detail with finesse. It has featured in Real Living Magazine (Jan 2020), The Local Project and Dwell Magazine among many other digital publications. With notes of Japanese, Scandinavian or Nordic design we’re sure the aesthetic of this home will appeal.
The aesthetic of the house is very minimal, inside and out. Our furniture and finishes all share a similar muted colour palette which was very intentional. Its raw, earthy and calm. If you look at our surrounds along the Surfcoast, the coastline in this region, the colours of the limestone cliffs and beaches in their different lights they all greatly influenced our interior styling choices.
Our previous shoot clients have included linen brands, homeware brands, lighting companies, kids clothes, adult clothes, lifestyle, artists and many more. Our home is very light filled and photographers always comment how easy it is to shoot here.
