Named after the Maltese word for “arch,” Arkata is full of soft curves, earthy finishes, and flowing natural light—making it an effortlessly photogenic setting for brand campaigns, lifestyle shoots, and editorial productions.

The home’s heart is a striking 6-metre void in the open-plan living, kitchen, and dining zone, framed by expansive windows and strategically placed skylights that flood the space with year-round light. The warm, minimal palette—anchored in travertine, stone, timber, and ceramic textures—creates a clean yet character-rich backdrop that enhances both product styling and human-focused storytelling.

The kitchen is large, open, and easy to shoot from multiple angles, featuring a generous island bench and seamless integration with the dining and living areas. A fixed bench seat and statement pendant add visual interest, while the layout supports a fluid creative process for both photography and video.

Two carefully designed bathrooms bring in layers of tactility and charm. One, inspired by The Calile Hotel, features peach-toned tiles, gold accents, and arched mirrors—ideal for skincare or beauty content. The second bathroom includes a curved tiled shower and fluted glass, continuing the home’s commitment to subtle sculptural detailing.

Each of the four bedrooms offers a unique style moment. The master suite features sheer curtains and an arched entry to the walk-in robe; the guest bedroom includes an arched bedhead; and the two gender-neutral children’s rooms offer playful yet refined styling. A separate light-filled workspace with open shelving and curated props provides even more flexibility for flat lays, editorial captures, or styled content scenes.

Outside, a soft aqua plunge pool adds a splash of colour and calm, with the alfresco area currently evolving to offer even more outdoor potential in the near future.
