Amado Cottage | Mid-Century Modern Shoot Location | Brisbane, QLD

Amado Cottage is a light-filled, mid-century inspired family home in Brisbane, styled with warmth, personality, and a creative eye for detail. Designed to embrace indoor-outdoor flow, this shoot-ready location combines expressive architecture with open plan living, family-friendly zones, and polished styling throughout.

The heart of the home is a generous open living space with soaring 3.7-metre glass doors, filling the interiors with natural light and creating a seamless connection to the shaded alfresco. Whether you're shooting lifestyle content, interiors, or brand campaigns, this flow gives creatives space to move and shoot from multiple angles.

Every room offers its own distinct look. The master bedroom has a calm, retreat-like feel, complete with a resort-style ensuite. Two children’s rooms, one themed in pink, the other green, add softness and colour, while a guest suite with private ensuite brings hotel-style comfort to the mix. A separate study is available for work-from-home setups or styled office content, and downstairs, a moody underground cellar doubles as a media room, ideal for darker editorial tones or cinematic stills.

The overall aesthetic blends mid-century cues with contemporary Australian styling. Timber accents, curated furniture, and considered materials make this space feel lived-in but elevated never overdone. Add in natural light, an outdoor shower, and optional extras like a trained golden retriever or on-site assistance, and Amado Cottage becomes a flexible and welcoming location for family-focused brands, lifestyle shoots, editorial storytelling or film production.

This is a well-composed home with personality, flow, and light, made for relaxed, high-impact visual work.
